Enjoy another painting extravaganza with Alvaro Castagnet in Spain, for the seventh time. We’ll stay in Roses, Girona province, by the sea, in Cape of Creus natural park.

Masterful tuition by Alvaro, good atmosphere and a wonderful time by the sea, on the most beautiful Spanish coast, at the edge of Cape of Creus natural park. We’ll explore the surrounding areas with trips to some really exciting venues nearby like Cadaqués, Castelló d’Empúries, Girona or Besalú as well as some local paintings in Sta. Margarita waterways.

You will share this wonderful experience with like-minded people providing double-learning experience as you’ll share each other’s views and experiences, you’ll talk art, live art, think art, breath art and… socialize through art afterwards.

Your accommodation is in Roses, in a hotel by the sea, on the water front, on a full board accommodation basis: breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner with wine are included.

Special attention for the organisation: NO trouble for us means focus on the painting... AND IT WAS VERY GOOD! On Monday 24 I had "zero" knowledge of watercolour. The locations were fantastic and I particularly enjoyed the coastal villages but Girona was equally enchanting. Mixing with people from different countries and cultures was also excellent. Alvaro is a very gifted artist and he creates such wonderful paintings but I think his methods caught a few of us out; many of us had never been faced with the approach he takes so I was found it hard and lost confidence in myself.
