Yuko Nagayama is a leading watercolorist and teacher known for her easy-to-understand instructional style. Her paintings are exhibited and sold in galleries across Japan, the United States, and France, and she is featured regularly in Watercolor Magazine. She is currently a professor at Musashino Art University and presides over the Otsuka Atelier. She has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in painting from Tokyo University of the Arts.
I love to feel the energy from things and putting them into my paintings.
My spirit and the energy sing to each other. I just love drawing them.
We will be based in the new EPC Girona studio, in the center of the city, near the old city. We will learn how to draw, how to make balanced flower compositions and still lives. How to make soft background and balance definition and atmosphere in the flower paintings and still lives.
At the end of each day we will talk about our experiences with the works that we have done in order to learn more, not only from our works but from all the different experiences from our classmates
