Portraits and Figures
Eudes Correia is a Brazilian watercolorist, trained as a graphic designer and draftsman.
He paints mainly portraits and figures, he transforms ordinary people who travel in the city, almost invisible, into the main characters in his work. They are always telling a story with sensitivity and personality. His portrait feel alive and have a well balanced design, very loose but with enough detail to understand their features and mood, they have a soul and the story they tell feels like our own story.
Eudes has a solid background in drawing and space composition, giving a strong importance to shapes, values and lines, in a very expressive manner.
He has excelled in the international stage, has participated in exhibitions all over the globe, and has taught workshops in various countries around the world.
He is passionate about Brazilian music, without which he is almost unable to paint. Here’s a verse of a song by one of his music idols, Djavan, called Muito Obrigado (Thank you very much). Music and a glass of red wine, to make painting an exuberant global experience of enjoying life.

For this workshop we will be based right Girona city in our new EPC Girona Studio right in the centre of the city, next to shops, restaurants and right by the old part of the city. Girona is a medieval city with a powerful Jewish quarter, well preserved. it captivated the crew of Game of Thrones, so they came and filmed two chapters of the 6th season here.
