General Program

Let me point out some highlights in Liu Yi’s course program:

Each day there will be a live model to paint: young woman and man, more mature woman and man, to finish with a ballerina on the last days.
The features for each age are different, therefore the approach should also be different
Each evening Liu Yi will do a Masterclass with a Powerpoint presentation about how to paint the portraits of the following day, giving precise tuition about that specific subject.
The difficulty of each subject increases with the days, and more body parts are added until students feel more confident to paint the whole body.
There will be a demonstration by Liu Yi each day for painters to observe how he does it, and then a time for you to do your own painting after that with his expert guidance.
On the last day, it’s a paint along day as you will be more proficient to develop his technique on your own.
Liu Yi will do a personalized critique to every person on the last day in the afternoon, and certificates will be issued for course participants, signed by Liu Yi.

Hope you are as excited as myself with this unique program, it’s the first time it’s done in Europe with such a recognized Chinese master, a true professional who has devoted his life to art and tuition at Shanghai University.

Transfers from the Airport

We will pick you up at your arrival in Barcelona and take you back for your return. Please check the times for pick up and drop off carefully before you book your flights.

Pick up time on 13^th June: 2.00pm at Barcelona airport, return trip on 20^th June. leaving from Calella at 8.30am, arrival at BCN airport 11.00am. Please book your flights according to these times.
