Art Courses
We
have very successfully completed three years' painting
holiday weeks in Spain, on the Costa Brava,
visiting delightful places such as medieval
Besalú with its roman
bridge and Jewish history, Castelló
d'Empúries and its outstanding
gothic cathedral, Cadaqués,
the secluded fishing village that captivated
Dalí, Banyoles
and the lake that was the venue for the rowing
events in the 1992 Olympics, l'Albera National
Park and Capmany, one of
the best wine producing areas in Catalonia
that participants sampled in a local restaurant
with paella…
Our tutors are first class professional painters and tutors with whom you'll have the most exquisite painting experience. This year we are expanding and offering more
courses with world famous watercolourists
like ALVARO CASTAGNET and CHARLES REID , very
experienced course tutors and painters like Don Glynn, John Palmer and Steve
Hall who has written a book about Edward
Wesson. There's a tutor for every taste or need, ask for a full brochure to know about their levels and specific course details.
Painting in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying
a big variety of subject matters while getting a
flavour of this privileged part of the country
has made all our participants happy. Most of them have returned to this experience in the hope of repeating such a unique combination of art with good food and drink, personalised tuition with world famous tutors, and relaxed, well organized holidays. Last but not least, the careful care and attention of myself as a full time workshop manager.
